[About the role] To stay ahead of the game, we keep innovating and growing our Meeting Experience (Clickshare) portfolio. In this context we are looking to grow our global architecture team with a System Architect, focused on audio-video applications such as conferencing bars. [Key responsibilities] 1. Drive the architectural vision of the product portfolio considering the market evolutions in hardware technology as well as the dynamics in the market, with a strong focus on audio and video technologies applicable in the meeting room space. 2. Stay up to date with latest technology in the domain of ClickShare and advise product management and product owners on best technical roadmap strategies to follow. 3. Understand technologies by being hands-on and regularly implementing experiments, working on proofs-of-concept, reviewing code contributions of others, etc. 4. Scout for and work with suppliers and potential suppliers to fully map out and understand the landscape of solutions/algorithms/components/technologies and their suppliers. 5. Help the development teams and their architectural champions to make consistent architectural decisions when developing new features. 6. Foster a culture where people think system-wide across software components and development locations.
